Remember when Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach said that Liza Soberano is the Filipina with the biggest potential to be the next Miss Universe? In case you've forgotten already, read what she said below:

"Beauty of face. Maganda talaga. When I was asked at that time, it was just very quick, at the top of my head. I thought of commercial beauty na papasa na Pilipina pa rin siya, at yung naisip ko; and she's young and she can still train," she said. "There could be other celebrities that can be a Miss Universe, why not? Pero kailangan nilang i-give up ang careers nila dito. Yun nga lang, mga sobrang sikat na sila, pero kaya siya [Liza] yung nabanggit ko."

Yup, we all got excited when she said that because we feel the same way, too. Well, the star of My Ex and Whys finally spoke about joining the beauty pageant and guess what? She's not closing any doors! (via ABS-CBN.com)

In her interview on Tonight with Boy Abunda, the teen star said that she's too busy these days, but she's not totally saying no to that possibility. "Right now I think I'm just too busy to think about it and I just want to focus on my acting career because it's my dream to make it far when it goes to acting," Liza told host Boy Abunda. "When it comes to Miss Universe, I don't think I'll be able to handle all the pressure, but you know I'm not closing any doors. Maybe in the future."
