The story of Little Women, for better or for worse, has spawned numerous iterations since its original publishing in 1868. From grand operas to Hollywood blockbusters (we're looking at you, Greta Gerwig's 2019 masterpiece), we've met several versions of the March sisters and their companions. In 2022, viewers will get to witness a more nail-biting, modernized take on the narrative, as Netflix and tvN officially premiere the K-drama adaptation of the novel.
Helmed by director Kim Hee Won, whose portfolio includes the Song Joong Ki-fronted thriller Vincenzo, the latest take on the tale answers the question: "What if the March sisters lived in the modern Korean society?" The drama not only boasts of twists and turns at every corner, but also of a powerhouse cast that makes it all the more irresistible to press play. You'll probably find yourself wondering where you've seen this or that actor while watching the show, so to save you the stress, we've done the sleuthing.
Here's where you've seen the cast of Little Women before:
1. Kim Go Eun
Fresh off winning Best Actress accolades for her lovable leading role in Yumi's Cells, the angel-faced Kim Go Eun steps to the plate as Oh In-ju, the eldest of three sisters. Aside from playing the lovestruck Yumi, Go Eun is most recognized for being none other than Gong Yoo's "wife" in the 2016 crowd favorite Goblin. Other popular titles in her repertoire include The King: Eternal Monarch, Cheese in the Trap, and Tune In for Love.

2. Nam Ji Hyun
Nam Ji Hyun has made the likes of Ji Chang Wook, Seo In Guk, and EXO's D.O. fall in love with her (at least on screen, as far as we know). In Little Women though, her character, On In-kyung, is more interested in being an exemplary reporter than dating. Ji Hyun started out playing the younger versions of leading ladies, and it looks like the Suspicious Partner and 100 Days My Prince actress has already become one herself.

3. Park Ji Hu
Park Ji Hu is on a steady incline to stardom. Many would recall seeing the 18-year-old in zombie blockbuster All Of Us are Dead, but Ji Hu's breakthrough as an actress actually occured with the 2018 indie film House of Hummingbird. Playing a girl faced with uncertainty earned her international recognition from award-giving bodies such as the Baeksang Arts Awards and the Tribeca Film Festival. Currently, she plays Oh In-hye, the gifted artist and the maknae of the main trio.

4. Wi Ha Joon
Making yet another appearance on our Netflix screens as the mysterious Choi Do-il is Wi Ha Joon. While it was undeniably Squid Game that launched him into global adoration, Ha Joon has also fronted other adrenaline-packed productions, namely Shark: The Beginning, Midnight, and Bad and Crazy. Of course, he's also lent his swoon-worthy looks to lighter, more feel-good titles such as Something in the Rain and 18 Again.

5. Uhm Ki Joon
The three sisters will go up against South Korea's wealthiest family in a case of financial drama. The patriarch of the clan they're facing is Park Jae-sang, who will then be played by seasoned actor Uhm Ki Joon. This won't be Ki Joon's first time playing an antagonist; he previously played a scheming real estate agent in The Penthouse, as well as a kidnapper in Man of Vendetta.

6. Uhm Ji Won
Right by Ki Joon's side is Uhm Ji Won, who fills in the role of Won Sang-ha, the mother of their family and a museum director. No stranger to the camera, Ji Won has been lauded for her stellar performances in movies such as Hope, Man on the Edge, and Missing. Her last small screen project before Little Women was the tvN melodrama Birthcare Center.

7. Kang Hoon
Fans of Twenty-Five, Twenty-One might recognize Kang Hoon as the 26-year-old version of Baek Yi-hyun, Nam Joo Hyuk's not-so-little brother in the show. Though, this one episode cameo is only one thing off of the rookie's resume, as he's been in TV series such as The Red Sleeve and You Are My Spring prior. In Little Women, he plays Ha Jong-ho, a childhood friend of Nam Ji Hyun's character.

8. Gong Min Jung
Also present in the show's lineup is Gong Min Jung, who previously filled in as Shin Min Ah's on-screen bestie on Hometown Cha-cha-cha. Primarily a film actress, Min Jung has had loads of experience playing supporting roles thanks to the titles Kim Ji-young: Born 1982, Nothing Serious, and Grass.
