Choose Your Own Summer Anthem This Year From Ellie Goulding, Zendaya, Best Coast, and Nicki Minaj

Here's a playlist to get you more excited for summer vacay and push you to work, work, work on all your school requirements, Candy Girls: A shortlist of your summer 2015 anthems from some of your favorite musical acts! Nothing like spending an entire day by the poolside or by the seashore, listening to good tunes, and sipping on your favorite fruit juice, right? So while you're still busy finishing projects for school, listen to these songs for some encouragement that you can get through finals week, too, and you'll be enjoying summer break very soon.
1 "My Jam" by Bobby Brackins featuring Zendaya and Jeremih
Z's fans have been waiting for this new song for so long, and we're happy to report that it's worth the wait. Check out the singer and her friends chilling like it's nobody's business in this island in Puerto Rico, as we reported earlier this month.
When you should listen to this: When you're already at the beach (FINALLY!) with your family and/or friends to open your summer vacay with a bang. This is not just Zendaya's jam, you guys. This is THE jam.

2 "Heaven Sent" by Best Coast
We're dying of envy after Best Coast announced their tour dates (um, can we get the date for Philippines, too?). But the next best thing happened: the duo announced that they're releasing a second album, California Nights and also revealed this lyric video of one of their songs off their sophomore record.
When you should listen to this: While you're on the road with your girls, traveling to your summer destination.
3 "Sugar" by Nicki Minaj and Maroon 5
Maroon 5 adds a sweet twist to "Sugar" by adding Nicki to do a short rap at the beginning of the song. It's a fun mix of hip hop and pop, TBH.
When you should listen to this: While hanging out by the poolside with your favorite people in the world. Such a nice thing to imagine, right? Ahh, summer, please come sooner!
4 "Take Me To Church" by Ellie Goulding
And for a song you can put on loop on warm summer nights, we highly recommend Ellie's version of this Hozier song.
When you should listen to this: Keep this playing in the background while you and your girl friends are gathered around a bonfire by the beach, telling stories about anything and everything? Ahh, you gotta love the smell of summer.
