Liam Payne's Emotional Message To Fans Will Melt Your Heart

A day after news broke that Zayn Malik is leaving One Direction, fans all over the world waited in anticipation if Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, or Niall Horan would say something about the most devastating thing to happen in 5 years of Directioner fandom.

It wasn't long before Harry, Louis, and Niall all had something to say and the fans were more than grateful. If you've been a fan as early as 2010, you know that fans are very big part of One Direction's success. And the boys of 1D have always made this fact clear—they wouldn't be where they are now without their fans.

While we know that Directioners around the globe are mourning the departure of what was once a 5-piece band (breaks a heart typing those words, tbh), we can't even begin to imagine how Harry, Liam, Louis, and Niall are dealing with the heartbreaking news. Try to think of how difficult it must be to carry on with a tour without one of your brothers? If you think you have it hard, they're probably going through just as much as you.

This is why it's such a major thing when Liam Payne wrote a massive tweet addressed to the fans this morning. Try not to cry as you read his message.
" In light of recent events I think this is important to say.
For the past five years now I've been part of something so special I don't think any of us really understand, something that can mean the world to people and put a smile on the face of our fans even in the darkest times. To a lot of people it's just a bunch of silly kids in a band but to the people involved it means so much more. This last week has been some of the worst times, possibly the worst it's something we are all deeply saddened by. It's sad to think for the time being we won't grace the stage as five bros or have the same fun on a tour bus or laughs in a hotel together that we have over the years but I'm super sure us and zayn will always remain the closest friends. I guess what I'm really trying to say is it's far from over. When we very 1st became successful we all agreed that one direction had become much bigger than each individual member that's why I feel like right now it's ok to be sad and upset but I do ask everyone who is a fan of us to please keep ur faith in us I'm sure there's a lot more to come

And we couldn't agree more. While we all feel deeply saddened by the fact that the group we knew to be 5 all this time is now 4, it's also important to show One Direction that they've got our support no matter what.
Allow yourself to be sad, to be upset! Talk it out with other Directioners, reach out online to fellow fans who feel the same way, but never do anything to harm yourself or the people around you whether physically, verbally, or emotionally. We know better than that, Candyrectioners! We'll all get through this, we promise.
