After stalking actress Lee Sung Kyung for weeks, we were convinced that she was actually dating Weightlifting Fairy co-star Nam Joo Hyuk...and that they were just keeping it in secret. Blame it on how much we adore the show and our fangirl hearts, but we were just happy shipping them.
However, in her interview with US' W Magazine, the 26-year-old actress revealed that those dating rumors involving here aren't true at all. None. Of. Them. Are real. *sound of hearts breaking* HUHU, whattt?
"There have been so many rumors associating me with certain male models and other relationships I've never been in, that I feel as though I've been through those relationships already, so I don't have to go through them again. I feel like I've dated around a hundred people by now; it's exhausting." —Lee Sung Kyung
This is why, she admits, that she stays indoors most of the time when she's in Korea because "if I just walk around with friends it escalates into scandal and rumors." This, she says, is one of the downside to being famous and why it was "healing" when she traveled to Paris recently.
We understand, Sung Kyung. Huhu, but knowing how much we love Weightlifting Fairy, we probably won't stop hoping for you and Joo Hyuk any time soon. ♥
