In January this year, social media was burning with cheating accusations involving celebs whose private conversations were exposed to the public. Included in the list is Kira Balinger, who was *rumored* to be the third party that caused Kelvin Miranda’s breakup with his ex-GF, commercial model Roselle Vytiaco.
In case you need a refresher, the accusations started when Roselle posted a series of photos on her IG stories.
“Ok, I never thought I’d do this but ako kasi yung sinisisisi niya bakit siya na-attract sa iba,” she wrote, sharing Kelvin’s alleged text messages with Kira.
“Long story short, inamin niya na hindi na daw siya attracted sakin at attracted na siya sa iba pero wala pa daw iba. So iyak iyak ako diba, biglang naghilik. Ayaan na. Basta, nong inamin niya sakin na totoo na gusto niya si girl pero wala pa daw meron, I left them in peace. Ayon lang okay na yan.”Instagram/rosellevytiaco
When the rumors first went viral online, neither Kira nor Kelvin responded to the accusations. However, the actress recently decided to clear everything up once and for all.
“Hindi po ako third [party]. Kung ano man po yung napag-usapan nilang dalawa, wala na po ako doon. Pero ako, from a woman to another woman, I understand that pain. Pero from my point of view, wala po akong alam, and I’m confident to say na hindi ako kabit gaya ng sinasabi ng lahat,” she tells Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP.ph).
“To be fair, hindi kami. Chats lang yun! Those were just chats, ni minsan hindi kami lumabas together.”
According to Kira, she had *no idea* that Kelvin was in a relationship at the time.
“I did not break them up and I’m very confident to say that. I do not steal men, I do not run after them, they come to me,” she says. “It was my mistake, I entertained one too many, and I am sorry for that. I am making up for it, I took accountability for my actions.”
The actress says that Kelvin has apologized to her for involving her in the drama. However, their relationship moving forward will be strictly about *work.*
