Kiana Valenciano is a singer-songwriter and brand ambassador who has made a name for herself working with companies like BYS and Oxygen. In July 2020, her song "Safe Place" was included in PARADISE RISING's debut mix tape, semilucent.
Below, eight things to know about Kiana V:
She's currently in Los Angeles.
Kiana moved to Los Angeles in February 2020, which means she's been quarantining in her new home abroad. She has been steadily releasing music all throughout the year, and her latest single "Corners" is available for streaming on Spotify.
She's been with Tarsier Records from the very beginning.
After releasing her breakout singles "Circles," "Does She Know" and "Misfits," Kiana signed with ABS-CBN Music's global label Tarsier Records, with whom she released her Grey EP in 2017. The album even garnerned an Awit Award nomination.
Kiana V released her debut album See Me in 2019.
The album included 10 tracks Kiana wrote herself, and included collabs with artists like Moophs, Sofia, KINGwAw, and Curtismith. The launch was held at Makati hotspot 20:20.
In an interview with Flaunt, the singer admits she dreams of one day working with Lucky Daye, UMI, Raveena, as well as Jason Dhakal.
She comes from a family of performers.
Kiana V may be well known as the daughter of Gary Valenciano. But being managed by her mom, Angeli Pangilinan-Valenciano, means she's also related to a lot of artists on the Pangilinan side, including siblings Hannah and Donny Pangilinan, musical theater star Gab Pangilinan, and Gen Z icon Frankie Pangilinan.

Kiana, who is a style influencer in her own right, *always* raids her dad's closet.
Kiana also graduated from the Raffles Design Institute and has even taken short-term design courses at Central Saint Martins in the UK. She also attended De La Salle University and SoFA Design Institute.Â
Kiana has been vocal about her mental health struggles.
"I was dealing with anxiety and depression and reached the point where I didn’t even notice I was hurting myself physically. It wasn’t until a friend pointed out that I had scratches and scars across the back of my neck that I realised I was lost and needed help," Kiana shared.
She also revealed that this is why she now champions authenticity in her work, something she has grown to prioritize over people pleasing. She's also spoken up against cyberbullying and emphasized the need to always treat people with kindness.
She also got matching tattoos with BFFs Lauren Reid, Andrea Luis, and Nadine Lustre.
"Find people in your life who bring out the sparkle in you," Andrea wrote on IG.Â
It's all about knowing who your friends are, even when it means making tough choices.
"I'd rather have a small, close-knit group of true friends than a big group of fake friends.
"That's why in my life, I've cut off people—not to say that we're not friends anymore—but they aren't in the core group anymore.
"I just need to make sure that I'm surrounded by people that I can trust, that love me as much as I love them, and that only see good things happening for me," Kiana admitted in an interview with PEP.ph.
