ICYMI: Tuesday Vargas recently went on social media to air out her frustration against showbiz "newbies" for not knowing how to respect their seniors in the industry. In a now-deleted post, the comedienne recounted how young stars allegedly snubbed her at an event.
"Mga batang artista, kahti gaano kayo kasikat at pinagkaka guluhan ng mga tao, mag hello kayo sa kapwa nyo artista pagdating sa work. Lalo na sa nakaka tanda," she wrote.
Tuesday also noted how the young artists insisted on performing first as they had another engagement.
"Sumingit na nga kayo sa program kasi nagagalit na ang handler nyo at bawal ata kayong pinaghihintay. Tapos ako pa ang nag bigay galang sa inyo, dinedma niyo pa ako."
She continued: "Tandaan, madaling maabot ang fame. Longevity is harder. Pakabait ok? Huwag ganun."
GMA 7 TV and movie director Louie Ignacio commented on her post: "Jusko madaling malalaos yang mga batang yan sa ugali nila. Feeling sikat agad ha nakakaloka!!!!"
The comedienne replied: "Hayyy direk. Sabi ko, 'Hi_____! Tuesday.' Tapos abot ng kamay ko."
"Hindi ako pinansin tapos si handler hinarangan ako kala magpapa-picture ako. Kaloka."
Although Tuesday did not reveal any names, some netizens mentioned Alexa Ilacad and KD Estrada of the popular Gen Z love team KDLex, prompting their fans to react to the issue. On December 5, Tuesday went on Twitter to stress that she didn't mention any names and that fans shouldn't feed the egos of the celebs they admire.
In the replies of Tuesday's tweet, KDLex fans defended the love team, saying that they are "genuinely kind and humble people" and that even the people that work with KD and Alexa have praised their attitude.
Tuesday replied to some fans who took the time to tell her that she should have addressed the matter privately instead of airing it out on social media.Â
Tuesday also noted that the road manager of the young stars has since called her up to apologize.Â
Tuesday ended her social media tirade by saying that she will block those who try to badmouth her. However, she is also open to having an "adult conversation" with netizens to try and come to a resolution.
As of this writing, neither Alexa nor KD has publicly commented on the matter.
