The K-pop industry is on a whole other level—from scouting and training potential idols in singing, dancing, and sometimes rapping to producing bops complete with coordinated concepts, stage costumes, and choreography. It’s pretty different from the typical Western music scene we’ve all been used to. Not to mention, there are currently a lot of K-pop groups actively producing and promoting music that it can get overwhelming if you’re new to it.

But if you want to explore beyond your current go-to tunes, however, K-pop has music that’s just as good and worthy of a listen as your favorite Western artists’ songs.
