Julia Montes is on the Dean's List!
On Wednesday, September 1, 2021, the 26-year-old actress proudly announced on Instagram that she is a Dean's Lister for the second semester of school year 2020-2021.
Julia uploaded a photo of her certificate of recognition bearing her real name Mara H. Schnittka, and expressed how grateful she is for having the opportunity to study while working.
She wrote in the caption, "Thank you @southville_is [emoji] Gusto ko lng po magpasalamat kay GOD sa lahat ng blessing na binibigay nya sakin na nakakapagaral po ko habang nagtratrabaho...
"thank you sa family ko, sa mga professor ko at sa lahat ng mga taong nagmamahal sakin dahil kayo po ang inspiration ko para matupad lahat ng dreams ko [emoji] thank you God [emoji]"
Julia has been taking online classes at Southville International School and Colleges to earn her bachelor's degree in Business Administration, major in Marketing Management.
The Kapamilya actress first revealed her return to school in an Instagram post in September 2020.
She took the opportunity to enroll since she has more time at home amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
She wrote, "Here's to a new journey FROM HOME! I am glad to be part of Southville International School and Colleges as I officially go back to school.
"This is how I turn a crisis into an opportunity, doing things I've always wanted now that I have the luxury of time. Indeed, education is a lifelong venture.
"And what I love most is that at Southville, you can do your passion without compromising your academic goals.
"How does that sound? So this is it! #BeAmazingBeSouthville @southville_is [emoji]. [camera emoji] @paolohautea"
Aside from her studies, Julia has been busy with her family life and two projects with her rumored boyfriend Coco Martin.
Julia and Coco also filmed a movie with director Brillante Mendoza in Pola, Oriental Mindoro.
