Julia Barretto on being "crucified" online

In a vlog by BJ Pascual which was released on her birthday, Julia talked about being "crucified" on social media and how she deals with bashers and haters:

"The older I'm getting, I'm slowly starting to realize how important it is to compartmentalize things: what matters and what doesn't matter. Sometimes, when it's the opinion from people who don't have a significant role in your life, and who really don't matter to you, who you don't even know, I'm never gonna be affected by it. Because you don't know me, I don't know you, we can't judge each other. It's just not possible. I think the opinions that really just matter to me are the opinions of my family, my friends, the people that are close to me, the ones that really know me."

ICYMI, Julia entered the showbiz industry when she was only six years old. She told BJ: "Growing up in the spotlight, whether you do something good or bad, people will always have something to say. So keep going, keep doing you. Wala, may masasabi e. Kahit ang ganda na ng nagawa mo, mayroon pa rin silang masasabi. May taong ganoon e."

Julia Barretto on responding to bashers who "cross the line"

"Hindi ako mapag-patol," Julia shared. "Pero parang kapag may nagco-cross na ng line, I will answer, but never in a bastos way. I won't pay back bad for bad. I believe in paying back good for bad. Fight a good fight of faith, 'di ba, sabi sa Bible...I'm always hoping for the best for them every time I reply. For you to be talking to me this way, you must be going through something. Kung at peace ka, masaya ka, you'll not talk to anybody that way. I look at it na, maybe they're not okay, maybe there's something they want to improve or change in their life na hindi pa nababago. I just don't want to judge also, because I know what it's like to be judged."

In the vlog, Julia also said that she really wants to have a family and "figure out how to start one" by the time she's 26. You can watch the full video below:
