Valentine's Day just passed, but it seems singer-songwriter Moira Dela Torre is up for breaking hearts—with the help of Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia.
The 27-year-old singer just dropped the Niq Ablao-directed music video for her song "Paubaya" on February 14. The now-trending music video stars Joshua and Julia as an engaged couple, whose relationship fell through and had to part ways. What got fans, JoshLia's especially, even more hyped up was the supposed closure that the two characters in the MV had, which felt *very* true to life after the IRL breakup of Joshua and Julia in 2019.

You'll have to watch it for yourself to feel the ~raw~ emotions delivered by the two young actors, but what's interesting is that both Joshua and Julia had other parts to play aside from the two lead roles. They were also credited for the script dialogue of the MV, alongside Moira and her husband Jason Hernandez.
While the song is only around 5 minutes long, the video almost took 12 minutes, thanks to the heart-wrenching scene of JoshLia towards the middle. In the most iyak-inducing part of the video, Julia's lines include, "I'm sorry, Josh, I'm sorry napagod ako. I'm sorry, nawala ako. Natakot ako kasi hindi kita mahanap noon. Binigay ko sa'yo lahat, naubos lang ako." Joshua also has his own fair share of feels, "Sorry kung hindi kita naprotektahan. Natakot ako. Sobra. Pero gusto ko nandun ako nung nasasaktan ka. Pero wala. Siguro dahil alam ko na rin na hindi talaga tayo para sa isa't isa." In the words of Darren Espanto (who left a comment on Julia's Instagram post about the MV), "Bakit po kayo nananakit?"
