Candy's November 2022 cover star Julia Barretto has been in show business for over two decades now. Given her long history in the industry, it comes as no surprise that a lot of her first experiences in life are related to her career. For example, Julia's first-ever celebrity crush is actually Sam Milby because he would always perform on ASAP during her early days in showbiz. It was also around this time when Julia formed a friendship with Jane Oineza, a fellow Star Magic Circle batchmate who eventually turned out to be her first showbiz BFF. Even Julia's first award and first makeup product are somehow related to her passion for acting—further proof that this Gen Z star is made for the spotlight.
Of course, working at a young age also meant that Julia missed out on typical teenage experiences like prom, but she enjoyed her childhood nonetheless.
