John Lapus, one of the co-stars in the DonBelle film Love Is Color Blind, believes that Belle Mariano and Donny Pangilinan's pairing will have a ~*bright*~ future.
In the press conference for the movie, John noted, "I'm pretty sure na just like other love teams na nagkatuluyan, DonBelle will be like KimXi, Kathniel, and Lizquen na hopefully nagkatuluyan eventually."
He says he believes this will happen due to the ~magic~ that happens with Donny and Belle's chemistry both on- *and* off-screen. "Hindi ako nagtataka na yun ang mangyayari sa DonBelle with their magic on and off camera,"Â he revealed.
He also went on to share his observations about his two young co-stars and why they remind him so much of KathNiel.Â
"Sweet sila, yun lang napansin ko. Technically, second project na nila 'to, nauna na nga yung 'He's Into Her,' so hindi na ako nagulat na may movement I've seen in many love teams... actually, DonBelle reminds me so much of KathNiel na kasama rin ako sa first movie nila together. Iba yung magic, eh. And individually, I like them both."
He added: "Si Donny, feeling ko just like Daniel Padilla. Lahat ata ng mga artista na ang parent ay artista rin, talagang bini-briefing sila ng mga parents nila na artista. Kasi talagang napakabait na bata, simpatico, unang bumabati sa senior actors. Alam mong na-train mabuti ng mga magulang na artista din. Ganyang ganyan si Daniel, eh."
John also went on to say that Belle reminds him of a younger Kathryn Bernardo. "Yung sweetness and aside from the fact na pareho silang child actors na galing sa 'Goin' Bulilit,'" he said.
"Malaki ang paghanga ko sa mga child actors kasi nasisipagan ako. For a kid na magtrabaho instead of having a normal kid's life na maglaro sa kalye and everything. Mataas ang respeto ko. Yun rin ang nakikita ko kay Belle. Napaka-sweet na bata. I could testify kasi nga ako yung lagi niyang ka-eksena. Napakahusay niya and she’ll go places. Hindi ako magtataka na magkaroon siya ng best actress award in the future. Malalim yung acting niya," he noted.
