Janella Salvador’s former personal assistant Michelle Pelongco went on Raffy Tulfo’s radio program Raffy Tulfo in Action to air out a complaint against the 22-year-old actress. In a video of the radio show uploaded on the program’s YouTube channel on July 7, the former PA of Janella explained to host Raffy Tulfo that the actress has not released 12 days’ worth of pay equivalent to P3,600.

According to Pelongco, she was recently let go as a PA by Janella and has yet to receive the remaining part of her salary. During their conversation, Pelongco also shared that her tasks as a PA included preparing her things and accompanying her to tapings, for which she was supposed to be given a monthly salary of P8,000.

Tulfo and his team tried to reach out to Janella and her handler but failed to receive her side of the story while on air.

Janella’s response

Janella instead took to Twitter to issue her only statement towards the accusations, saying that the media is not the proper venue to settle the issue. In her post, Janella says, “I really don’t believe I have to defend myself because trial by media is not the appropriate venue for this. If you believe in your own lies and I really violated something, sue me.

“If you’re gonna twist the story in your desperate attempt to get money from me… sorry, hun. 3.6k is small and I would gladly give it to someone who deserves it. Not worth my time. We are literally still going through a PANDEMIC and our press freedom is in danger. Next.”
