You guys, we’re down to the last few episodes of Mars Ravelo’s Darna, where Jane de Leon captured our hearts as the *iconic* Filipina superheroine. While the show might be ending soon, it’s definitely *just* the beginning for its lead actress.
“It’s sad actually, kasi alam ko na marami pa kaming maibubuga and marami pang kwento na ma-s-share sa lahat ng tao,” she says during the fantaserye’s media conference.

It was in 2019 when the actress was confirmed to play Darna, and she admits that her life tremendously *changed* since. Kahit papaano, nakaahon kami, guminhawa yung buhay namin,” she shares. “I met a lot of people sa buhay ko, kung sino talaga yung mga totoo.
In a previous interview with Ogie Diaz, Jane revealed that she used to sleep in dressing rooms just to save money on transportation. She said, “Wala talaga kaming makain, na asin na lang po talaga yung kinakain namin. Asin, kasi walang-wala po talaga kaming pera.”
It was because of her mom’s hard work that helped Jane become the go-getter she is today. “Si Darna sa puso ko is my mom talaga, kasi marami siyang sacrifices na ginawa for us and for my family,” she admits.
You deserve all of it and *more*, Jane!
