Pinoy Big Brother has been a national sensation for years. The show has produced some of the country's most popular actors and actresses. One of the former housemates who's now found a proclivity for and potential in acting is Jameson Blake. He's starred in several teleseryes and films and is also one of the original members of the boy group Hashtags. From his PBB audition story to his life after the show, here are a few things to know about Jameson: Â
Jameson started out as a model.
Before even entering Bahay ni Kuya, Jameson has already been part of the industry as a commercial model. He's worked with brands like Coke and Bingo for ads and campaigns. Coincidentally, he and his Four Sisters co-star and onscreen partner Charlie Dizon had already worked on a commercial prior to starring together in the 2020 prequel.

Jameson got scouted to audition for PBB.
Jameson had the moniker of Responsible Son of Pampanga during his stay at the Big Brother house. He was part of the Pinoy Big Brother: 737 batch together with fellow Hashtag member Zeus Collins, Richard Juan, Tommy Esguerra, Dawn Chang, Miho Nishida, and Mikee Agustin, among other housemates.
In an interview on the YouTube channel THE ODE, Jameson mentioned that entering Bahay ni Kuya wasn't his intention at all. Although he still had to go through the entire audition process, Jameson learned about the audition almost serendipitously. He was on a road trip to Baguio when he was approached by a random lady who told him that he has potential to become a housemate for the reality TV program. With the encouragement of his friends and his mom, Jameson went for it and was one of the aspiring housemates who lined up at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Additionally, Jameson mentioned that he was supposedly part of the lineup for the teen housemates because at that time of his audition, he was still 17 years old (the teen housemates for 737 include Ylona Garcia, Bailey May, and Barbie Imperial). When he got the callback, however, he had already turned 18 and was ultimately grouped with the adult housemantes.
Jameson is Filipino-American.
Jameson's mom is Kapampangan while his dad is American, although they have been separated for years. He was born in Hong Kong and spent 10 years of his life there. He has an older brother and a younger sister. For the first time, Jameson’s dad and stepdad met each other on national television when his family briefly entered Bahay ni Kuya for a visit during Jameson’s stay there.

Jameson started his acting career through indie films.
Fresh off of his PBB stint, Jameson was cast in the indie film 2 Cool 2 Be 4gotten alongside Khalil Ramos and Ethan Salvador. This was Jameson's first ever movie role, which was also his first time getting nominated and eventually winning the Best Supporting Actor award at the Cinema One Originals Film Festival back in 2016.
A year later, he got casted again in two more independent films, Nabubulok and Nay. In 2018, he starred in So Connected where he was partnered with Janella Salvador who was one of his dream love team partners.Â

 In the same year, he starred in Ang Babaeng Allergic sa Wi-Fi alongside Sue Ramirez. In 2020, he starred in the highly anticipated prequel Four Sisters Before the Wedding and in the quarantine BL film My Lockdown Romance alongside Joao Constancia.
Jameson is a gamer.
Aside from acting and performing on stage, Jameson is also a certified gamer. He has been streaming his games since last year but got to do more of it this year due to the pandemic. Jameson is a huge fan of shooting games, particularly Apex Legends and Valorant. He's even a part of a clan in the former and goes by the username Lucid.
Jameson’s ideal type in a partner: loving and family-oriented.
When asked about the qualities he looks for in a partner, Jameson said that it's pretty simple. He tends to like someone who's fun to talk to, respectful, loving, and family oriented.
