1. James Reid and Nadine Lustre in Beauty and the Bestie
The OTWOL OTP are big fans of Vice Ganda and Coco Martin, so it was a blast for them to work with their idols in this movie. James plays the brother of Coco's secret agent character, who used to be best friends with Vice Ganda's character. James describes his character as "very flirtatious" (what else is new? Haha!), which Nadine's character, who is Vice Ganda's sister, experiences firsthand. James and Nadine had so much fun filming this action-comedy, so if you catch them trying to hold in their laughter during their scenes, that's 100 percent real!
2. Janella Salvador and Jerome Ponce in Haunted Mansion
Do you miss watching Janella Salvador and Jerome Ponce on Be Careful with My Heart? Here's your chance to catch the Lim siblings on the big screen. They'll be playing a love team this time, but if your heart still ships Janella and Marlo Mortel, don't worry—Marlo will be joining Janella and Jerome in the haunted retreat house. Fingers crossed that they all survive the scare fest!
3. Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza in My Bebe Love: #KiligPaMore
Even if you've never seen a minute of the AlDub kalyeserye, we're sure you're familiar with this phenomenon reigning supreme in the primetime scene and on billboards, magazine covers, and TV commercials. Now it's the right time (or tamang panahon, as they'd say) for Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza to conquer the big screen. AlDub fans will get a kick out of seeing them together, actually talking face to face and breathing the same air, after spending so much time waiting for them to meet in person!
4. Kim Chiu and Xian Lim in All You Need Is Pag-ibig
Sometimes, we laser-focus our attention on romantic love or the lack thereof that we forget there's so much love in the world—we just need to change our perspective. Leave it to OTWOL's Antoinette Jadaone to come up with this ensemble movie about puppy love, sibling love, unrequited love, and all other permutations of the four-letter word. Kim Chiu and Xian Lim are among the stars who’ll bring on the laughs, as two people who haven’t quite DTR-ed yet. Too cute!
