After rumors came out that he'll be starting his service four weeks from now in Gangnam, MYM confirmed the reports and released their statement.
"The enlistment date for Lee Min Ho was confirmed today. It is true that he will be starting his military service on May 12 in Gangnam as a social service worker."
The Legend of the Blue Sea actor's social service worker status is because of the injury he had after a serious car accident in 2006. A metal rod was inserted into his leg and he also fractured his ankle.
