The venue was filled with supporters, friends, and fans of Somedaydream as its first single “Hey Daydreamer” debuts its music video to the public! There were lots of celebrities present, such as Champ Lui-Pio (manager and owner of the independent label Mecca Music, which also made its debut that night), Michelle Madrigal, Bianca King, Bubbles Paraiso, and Jolina Magdangal! Everyone looked like they had a great time with all the festivities that night. Rez Toledo, the one-man band behind Somedaydream entertained the crowd with covers such as “Smother Me” by The Used and “Digital Love” by Daft Punk which led up to his live performance of his hit single “Hey Daydreamer.” From the performance, you could tell that this budding artist, influenced by those foreign artists, is ready to conquer the OPM scene.
Talking about the music video this time, Bianca King apparently is the lady behind it all. She shared that the idea came up one day; she called some people, and just started shooting. With help from a lot of her friends, the idea is now making its debut and we couldn’t be happier for her and the rest of the team.
They did a great job as the video exuded youthfulness with its vibrant colors, playful theme, and enjoyable concept which is what Somedaydream is all about. Now, not only will the song get you humming with its catchy tune and unique electronic feel, but the video will surely get you hooked as well.
