If you haven't been listening to Shawn Mendes before, you probably should now.

We live for song covers. Original is always better, of course, but there's just something about creating something completely new from an already existing song. Artists introduce their own style into the song making it sound a bit—or sometimes, a lot—different.

Ed Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud" is already perfect, but this cover by Shawn Mendes is making us swoon all over again. You might be familiar with Shawn's videos on Vine where he has a whopping 3.6M followers. No wonder he got discovered by his current manager on the social platform, earning him a record deal with Island Records. His first album Handwritten is set for release in April. That's not all, dude's also opening for Taylor Swift's 1989 Tour this year. Not bad for a guy who used to post 6-second snippet covers of popular tunes online.
