Hey, hey, 5 Seconds of Summer family! Can you believe it's been four years already (what? It didn't feel that long!) since Luke Hemmings uploaded the first video on hemmo1996? It was a cover of Mike Posner's "Please Don't Go." Don't remember? Maybe this will jog your memory. If you've been a long-time follower, you know that this is where it all started for 5 Seconds of Summer.
Luke looks like a baby, right? The video was followed by a few covers and then this clip introducing half of the band a.k.a. Calum Hood and Michael Clifford...
And then their first video as a four-piece with their then new drummer Ashton Irwin.
It all started with one video and look where they are now—rockstars who have released chart-topping songs and who have played in packed venues in some parts of the world (we're still hoping they go to Asia soon, yes?). We're so full of feelings today, so we're allowing these tweets to summarize how we feel about this moment.
