2007
Back to You. Hailee first appeared on an episode of the TV sitcom as a little girl.
2008
Heather: A Fairytale. She appeared the following year in a short film as Heather.
2009
She's a Fox. In yet another short film, Hailee played the part of Talia Alden—the girl who was endlessly pursued by the main character.
2010
In 2010, Hailee got a several roles both on TV and in movies. She played Allison in the short film Without Wings, Sophie in another short film Grand Cru, and Bethany Springs on an episode of the series Sons of Tucson. But it was her role as Mattie Ross in the movie True Grit that made people notice her. Hailee was nominated for the Best Supporting Actress award in that year's Academy Awards. She was only 13.
2012
Hailee worked with The Cab that year for their music video for "Endlessly."
2013
After her Academy Awards nomination, Hailee got to work in even more projects. She starred in the short film The Magic Bracelet as Angela, the movie Hateship, Loveship as Sabitha, in Romeo and Juliet opposite Douglas Booth, in Ender's Game with Asa Butterfield, and as a narrator on the TV documentary Annie's Room. But one of her most memorable roles was when she appeared in the movie Begin Again with Keira Knightley, Mark Ruffalo, and Adam Levine.
2014
In 2014, Hailee appeared in the movies 3 Days to Kill, The Homesman, and The Keeping Room. It was also announced that she's going to star in the movie adaptation of Daniel Handler's book Why We Broke Up which was set for release in this year, but no updates have been reported since then.
2015
Last year, Hailee worked in more movies like Ten Thousand Saints, When Marnie Was There, Barely Lethal, and Pitch Perfect 2 where she sang on film for the first time, ever. The actress also appeared in her friend, Taylor Swift's music video "Bad Blood" with the rest of their squad and also in Pentatonix's "Sing."
Last year, Hailee also released her EP Haiz, the nickname used by her fans, which she said was her gift to them.
2016
This year, Hailee worked on the movies Term Life and The Edge of Seventeen. She also visited the Philippines to perform for her fans and promote her EP. In February, the singer-actress released her second song from Haiz, "Rock Bottom," in the new version she worked on with DNCE.
