#GRAMMYs: The Moments You Shouldn't Miss From This Year's Show
The 57th Grammy Awards, the biggest music event of the year, just finished awarding all the best names in the music world earlier at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. We know most of you were busy with school earlier so here's a list to fill you in on what went down at the awards show.
1 Sam Smith is this year's biggest winner.

The British singer took home a whopping four Grammy Awards this year: Best New Artist, Song of the Year, and Record of the Year for his hit song "Stay With Me." Aside from being a recipient of awards and being a nominee for different categories, Sam also performed the song wih RnB singer Mary J. Blige.
2 Taylor Swift made new friends.

Of course one of our favorite girls in the entire world makes new friends. By the end of the night, T-Swizzled revealed that she just met Madonna and was photographed having a short chat with Kanye West—who, if you can remember, interrupted her during her acceptance speech for the Best Female Video Award at the Video Music Awards 2009, saying she doesn't deserve the recognition. Now they're officially over what happened. Gotta hand it to Tay-Tay, patron saint of friendship.
3 Katy Perry teams up with President Barack Obama to deliver message regarding domestic abuse.
After President Obama's video message, domestic violence survivor Brooke Axtell shared her story. Katy then performed her survival track from Prism, "By the Grace of God."
4 Kanye West almost pulls another Kanye stunt. Almost.
After pulling a stunt like that on Tay-Tay at the Video Music Awards in 2009, people thought he was going to do it again today when Beck won against Beyonce in the Album of the Year category. The horror on Beyonce and Jay Z's faces were so visible but once Kanye stepped down the stage, they just laughed it off. Phew!
5 Hozier sings "Take Me To Church" with Annie Lennox.
<>Hozier's performance was enchanting as if he instantly took us to church, leaving us with just enough amount of air to breathe and say, "Amen." Annie Lennox joined him onstage later during the performance to do a cover of "I Put a Spell On You."
thank you my babes for all the love n luck today. i love u w all my heart! thank u sm @thegrammys for having me. unforgettable / surreal day— Ariana Grande (@ArianaGrande) February 9, 2015
<>Ariana graced the Grammys stage like an angel as she performed the ballad she co-wrote with One Direction's Harry Styles. She, too, couldn't believe that she did an amazing job during the show. Aww, what a cutie this girl is. <> 7 The "Glory" performance by John Legend and Common, introduced by Beyonce. <> <> <>Before the performance of Selma theme song, "Glory," Beyonce first introduced John Legend and Common by singing the gospel song "Take My Hand, Precious Lord." Yup, she still gets the last say on the Grammys. JK! Their number was a great way to end the show. <>And if you're asking why Ed Sheeran's performance with John Mayer isn't on the list, go over here. That number deserves a post of its own. <>To view the complete list of winners this year, click this. Did your favorites win? Let us know in the comments or tweet us @candymagdotcom.
