Glee's Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, and Chris Colfer Out for Season 4

Glee's co-creator and executive producer Ryan Murphy has just revealed that Lea Michele, Cory Monteith and Chris Colfer won't be back "at all" for the show's fourth season. He said their characters Rachel, Finn and Kurt will be among those who graduate in the upcoming third season.
Ryan told The Hollywood Reporter, “We made that decision and I involved Chris and Lea and they thought that was a good idea. They both trust the writing and trust me and felt that it would be great to have an open and closed experience for them to go out while they were on top.”
Last month, Ryan told TVLine that he would be open to a possible spin-off about Rachel, Kurt and some of their friends pursuing musical theater in New York. "It's an interesting idea," he said, but he would have to talk to Fox honchos first. Right now, the Glee team is focusing on season 3.
