Gigi Hadid Reveals She Found Out She Was Pregnant One Day Before a Fashion Show
Love her or hate her, 25-year-old supermodel Gigi Hadid has made some pretty iconic runway moments throughout her career, and not just by serving looks during Fashion Week. Remember that time in 2019 when a guest at a Chanel fashion show popped out of nowhere to join the models on the runway and Gigi escorted her off to prevent the show from being disrupted? While avid fashion enthusiasts had divided opinions about the supposed "gatecrasher," some considered Gigi's deed to be iconic.

In 2020, the model and now mom also made a pretty admirable feat in her career: she walked down the runway for various big-time designers while she was a few weeks pregnant, without anyone suspecting. In fact, Gigi recently revealed that she only found out about her pregnancy right before a show. "I found out the day before the Tom Ford show. I was so nauseous backstage but I learned I could kinda control it if I continuously ate, so my mom would pack me snacks before each show," she shares in a tweet in response to a fan who asked about it.
The Tom Ford show Gigi was referring to was the brand's Fall/Winter '20 show which happened in early February 2020. For the show, Gigi donned a full gown made entirely of lace, showing off her slim figure. No one would have suspected she was pregnant then.

Prior to that, the model has already been participating in other designers' runways, including the Jacquemus Menswear Fall/Winter 2020 fashion show, which happened in late January of the same year. Gigi even commemorated the anniversary of the fashion show on Instagram, saying, "A year ago, today @jacquemus! My baby girl was in there."

In April 2020, Gigi and her mom Yolanda Hadid confirmed that the supermodel and her boyfriend, pop star Zayn Malik, are expecting their first baby. In September of the same year, Gigi gave birth to a baby girl.
We'll be here waiting to see what iconic moment Gigi would create on the runway this year! Maybe she'll reveal her baby's name by then?
