Gigi Hadid Defended Herself from a Stranger Who Attacked Her on the Street

Fresh from walking the runways of London Fashion Week, model Gigi Hadid was suddenly grabbed and picked up by a stranger in Milan. Fortunately, she fought him off with moves she knew and learned from her boxing trainer. ICYDK, Gigi stays in shape by taking boxing classes under Rob Piela of NYC's Gotham Gym and Gotham G-Box. But what's as upsetting as the incident was a headline that seemed to state that this behavior wasn't expected of a supermodel. Gigi, of course, defended herself again on Twitter, saying that she had the right to stand for herself as a human being.
THANK YOU Rachel.

Remember, Candy Girls, that you have the right to defend yourselves from anyone who harasses you or attacks you. Maybe it's a prank for them but if what they're doing is offensive for you, then they have no right to tell you they're just doing it for fun. People should know where to draw the line.
To help prepare you for instances when someone tries to grab you or harass you, we got a little assistance from our friends at Female Network. They have released an article on self-defense moves you can do when you're commuting alone and when someone does that Galawang Hokage move on you.
- For when someone grabs you from behind and covers your mouth.
- Swing the arm nearest to your attacker through the space between you while simultaneously stepping behind him.
- Put both your arms around his waist and lock your hands in a gable grip. Make sure that your waist is lower than his.
- Squeeze your attacker's waist tight, and throw him down. If he's heavy, put your full weight on him and push him to the ground. As your waist is lower than his, your center of gravity is also lower, which will make it easier for you to do so.

No one has the right to touch you or hold you unless you gave them your consent, Candy Girls—which is a clear yes.
