7 Gen Z Celebs Who Went To International Schools

Sometimes, students want to experience unique environments to further their studies. In international schools, students can meet people from different cultures and get a hold of a well-rounded and internationally-acclaimed curriculum.

Our favorite stars are no exception to wanting a world-class education. Here’s a list of just some Gen Z celebrities who got their education at international schools:

1. Donny Pangilinan 

ICYDK, Gen Z actor and singer Donny Pangilinan graduated from the Brent International School in Binan, Lagunaway back in 2016. He took his secondary education there and was part of the school’s basketball team. Now that’s a student-athlete right there! Additionally, if you remember the Star Magic All-Star Games in May 2022, Belle Mariano cheered him and even wore his alma mater’s school jersey to show her dedication and support.

2. Kakie Pangilinan

Filipina singer-songwriter Frankie “Kakie” Pangilinan went to the Beacon Academy for her secondary education. It’s an international private school in Binan, Laguna that offers the International Baccalaureate program. Kakie graduated back in 2019 and she's currently taking up Literature and Anthropology at The New School in New York City.

3. Gabbi Garcia

Besides acting, Gabbi Garcia has musical skills that can impress you! She went to Meridian International College as a Music Business Management student. She has since become abecomea recording artist that released the ~self-produced~ track “All I Need” which you can listen to on Spotify. Plus, in the mystery romance drama Love You Stranger, GMA’s primetime show that ran from June to August 2022, Gabbi sang the theme song of the show alongside Khalil Ramos

4. Heaven Peralejo

A Business Management graduate, Heaven Peralejo finished her bachelor’s degree at Southville International School affiliated with Foreign Universities back in December 2021. A year after graduating, she finally moved into her new home which is a *huge* achievement. Ecstatic at having her own place, she shared on her Instagram last year that “all my hard work is paying off!” We’re super proud of you Heaven!

5. Alexa Ilacad

Both talented and smart, Alexa Ilacad graduated from Treston International College with a 1.0 General Weighted Average in March 2022. She took up Marketing in college and has a Dean’s Lister distinction. “‘A dream does not become a reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination, and hard work,’” Alexa quoted when she shared photos of herself wearing a toga. Now that’s beauty and brains!

6. Cassy and Mavy Legaspi

In 2019, Cassy and Mavy Legaspi graduated senior high school from Reedley International School in Pasig City. With their parents Carmina Villaroel and Zoren Legaspi wanting the twins to finish their studies first, Cassy and Mavy emphasized how *important* their education is before showbiz. At present, they’re both taking business degrees in college while juggling their work.
