You might have seen her in the youth-oriented films that blew up recently (like Dead Kids and Billie and Emma), but expect to see more of Gabby Padilla. The 26-year-old actress may be relatively new to the industry, but her passion for and potential in acting are already surpassing everyone's expectations.

Gabby is most known for her roles in Dead Kids and Billie and Emma.
Gabby played the role of Yssa in Mikhail Red's Dead Kids, which fans can stream on Netflix. She also starred as Emma in Samantha Lee's coming-of-age film Billie and Emma alongside Zar Donato. Aside from these two popular films, Gabby is also in the award-winning movie Kalel, 15 and in the horror movie Eerie (both of which are also available for streaming on Netflix!).
In some ways, Gabby is similar to her Dead Kids character.
In an interview with Candy, Gabby shared a few similarities between her role Yssa and who she is in real life. For instance, they're both headstrong. They both know what they want and they make sure they get it. On the other hand, Yssa and Gabby are different when it comes to their mindsets: Yssa's more privileged while Gabby is more sensitive to those around her.

Dead Kids and Billie and Emma weren't the only popular movies that Gabby got to be a part of. In case you didn't notice, Gabby was also part of the cast of Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral headlined by Paulo Avelino. She played Dolores Nable Jose, aka the sister of Goyo's love interest Remedios Nable Jose. Gabby currently stars in TBA Studios’ quarantine Zoom series called Taguan, which you can stream on TBA Studios' YouTube channel.

She is from Iloilo.
Gabby grew up in Iloilo and went to Iloilo National High School. She moved to Manila where she planned to pursue higher education.
Prior to starring in the big screens, Gabby has been acting on stage for years now. The actress is a huge fan of musicals like Miss Saigon and Les Miserables. She considers Lea Salonga as one of her major influences and idols in the industry. She even went on to take Theater Arts as her major at Assumption College San Lorenzo.
Gabby has a roster of films to show off under her acting belt, but she can still be considered a fresh face in the industry. Still, the promising actress showed just how deserving she is of the spotlight when she received a nomination at the famed FAMAS Awards. She was one of the nominees for Best Actress alongside heavyweights in the industry like Judy Ann Santos, Angelica Panganiban, Perla Bautista, Nadine Lustre, Glaiza de Castro, and Anne Curtis. She was nominated for her portrayal of Emma in Samantha Lee's Billie and Emma.
Other than acting and being a voice for the social causes she believes in, Gabby also dabbles a bit in mobile gaming. In an interview with Rappler, Gabby shared that if she had some extra time in the morning, one of things she'd do is to play a round of the popular game Mobile Legends.
In the future, Gabby would want to star in a biopic.
In an interview with Rank Magazine, Gabby shared that one of the things on her acting bucket list is to star in a biopic. Portraying a real, actual person isn't as easy as it looks, and Gabby is all for the challenge.
