You're the girl who'd look for a decent internet connection just so you can watch Clark and Leah's weekend getaway on livestream.

After a long day of dealing with school works, scary professors, and endless traffic jams, you are the girl who would rush home just to be in time for your favorite teleserye. You sit down in your couch with your mom and you beg your siblings not to disturb you as Xander professes his love for Agnes. You're the girl who'd look for a bus with a TV just so you can witness Angelo finally meet Yna. You're the girl who'd look for a decent internet connection just so you can watch Clark and Leah’s weekend getaway on livestream. You’re that girl. And people would always ask you, "Why are you so invested in teleseryes? It doesn't happen in real life," and they would even say, "Walang forever!"

But you watch them anyway, because after a stressful day, you believe that you deserve to feel in love, to feel giddy, to feel like Agnes Calay even just for an hour every night. You watch these teleseryes because deep inside, no matter how corny Clark's cheesy pick up lines are, you secretly wish that someone will do the same for you. You're the girl who believes that forever is possible, that somewhere out there, someone will promise his love for you, you believe that there is someone out there who will accept you no matter how messy your life is.

And I hope that you never stop believing them. I hope you'll never lose faith that one day, you shall find your "kambal na strawberry." It is never too bad to love these shows. In fact, they give you a glimpse of the other perspectives of love.

I know sometimes you think that your life is boring compared to the lives of Agnes, Yna, or Leah, but I want you to know that you are just in the prologue of your own teleserye.
