Francine Diaz may be a well-respected teen actress today, but she unfortunately didn’t receive the same admiration from others before her rise to fame. In a recent vlog interview with student influencer Kyla Cruz, Francine revealed that she has been bullied numerous times in elementary school.

So parang feeling siguro nila na special ako kasi nag-aartista, lumalabas sa TV,” Francine tells Kyla, referring to the financial struggles she and her family went through prior to her breakout role in Kadenang Ginto

Francine shared that there was even a time when her classmates openly accused her of losing materials for a group project.

“One time may project kami, 'yung magluluto ka.

In addition, the Gen Z star was also mocked for “only being an extra” in her past acting stints. Francine said.

However, despite all the negativity Francine received from her peers, she chose to stay humble and establish clear boundaries instead.

Since then, Francine has been using her influence to speak up on body-shaming, showbiz crab mentality, and social awareness. We’re so proud of you, Francine!
