Just like the rest of us, local celebrities dream of meeting their favorite K-drama stars. There have been a few lucky ones who have already turned that aspiration into reality, including Francine Diaz!
Yesterday, the 18-year-old actress went to the Mall of Asia Arena to attend Kim Soo Hyun’s fan meeting in collaboration with Bench. As a fellow endorser for Bench, Francine joined the event as a VIP guest.
Understandably, fans couldn’t contain their excitement and took photos of Francine in the venue. Clad in a white mini dress and heeled sandals, Francine was all dolled up to meet the It's Okay to Not Be Okay star.
At some point, was even spotted with veteran actresses Lovi Poe, Ria Atayde, and Sylvia Sanchez.
The best part? Francine didn’t just see Kim Soo-Hyun—she actually got to meet him up-close. Before the event ended, Francine climbed on stage to receive a poster from the actor! Fans took a video of the *iconic* moment, and the clip showed her giggling with excitement as she walked away.
Afterwards, Francine herself took to Instagram to express her kilig. She re-posted a photo of their brief exchange with the caption “Pag tumingin ba ko sayo akin ka na?” LOL, she’s truly one lucky fangirl!
Francine has always been a big fan of K-pop and K-dramas, so this actually isn’t the first time that she’s been noticed by an international star. Previously, Yoon Chan Young sent her a wave on Instagram DM and Ham Sung Min followed her back.
We’re so happy for you, Francine!
