Francine Diaz is one of the fastest rising stars in her generation, and it's refreshing to see that she still keeps it real despite the stardom. No wonder why her YouTube channel has amassed more than a million subscribers since posting her first video less than a year ago. Her YouTube content gives fans a peek at what Francine is *really* like outside of the characters she portrays, which is one way fans get to know her on a more personal level.
In one of her most recent videos, Francine took on the "Ila-like o pupusuan" video challenge, which gave her subscribers a glimpse of what she thinks about her fellow young celebrities. In the said video, Francine was given names of local and international male stars chosen by her team, and she had to decide whether or not she would give them a like or a heart. She also shared brief backstories about each celeb.Â
For singer Darren Espanto, Francine chose Like. She also referred to Darren as someone who's like a lolo to her, proving just how close they are with each other. For co-Gold Squad member Jimuel Pacquiao, Francine also gave a Like, saying that he's a kind and humble guy who's "easy to vibe with."
When it came to Akira from P-pop group BGYO, Francine gave a Like and even shared how happy she is now that they're working together in the same industry. ICYDK, Francine and Akira go ~way~ back. "Nag-workshop din kami together ng voice lesson... Minsan sabay din kami naghihintay ng masasakyan. Sabay kami umuuwi so sabay kami naghihintay ng sasakyan pauwi," Francine recalled.
Another fast-rising star, Donny Pangilinan's name also came up. For Donny, Francine chose Like! She said that she met Donny and his younger sister Solana one time, and they were both so kind. She also didn't expect that she'd get along with Solana over a book. "Doon lang namin nalaman na yung binabasa ko, yung Dork Diaries, ay binabasa rin niya," Francine shared. Cute!
PBB alum KD Estrada also got a Like from Francine who complimented the young musician on his singing skills! "Kung may boy version si Ate Moira [Dela Torre], si KD 'yon," she added.
One of the male stars Francine said "pupusuan" to was young actor Joshua Garcia. "Kung magka-edad kami ni Kuya Joshua, pupusuan." She also jokingly added, "Iyong ate ko raw, jojowain daw." On a more serious note, Francine had nothing but nice words to describe Joshua and his acting skills.Â
For Spiderman star Tom Holland, Francine gave an instant "aasawahin," LOL. Kidding aside, Francine shared that she's had a mini crush over the actor ever since he starred in the film The Impossible.Â
