ICYMI, The Voice Kids season two winner Elha Nympha turned 18 years old last week. Following her glamorous debut pictorial, Elha guested on today’s Magandang Buhay episode to further celebrate her legality.
Elha was all smiles on the show this morning, kicking things off with a heartfelt rendition of Rockstar’s “Mahal Pa Rin Kita.” Afterwards, the birthday girl got a special surprise when her long-time showbiz friend Francine Diaz stopped by!
Elha was visibly shocked as soon as she saw Francine make her way to the set and sit down beside her. Later on, host Regine Velasquez revealed that the two friends first met at a Star Magic workshop from way back when.
“Hindi ko po talaga tanda kung paano nabuo yung friendship. Pero kapag kailangan ko ng friend, ng someone na pagsasabihan or a shoulder to cry on, present siya. So ganoon yung friendship ko sa kaniya, yung friendship namin,” Francine shared.
“Minsan pagod [si Francine], mag-chachat ‘yan sa’min. Alam na namin na pagod ‘yan kapag gusto niya ng kausap, at ako rin naman,” Elha added, admitting that they like to gossip and tease each other online. So cute!
Of course, they couldn't end the interview without asking Francine to share her birthday wish for Elha. While holding Elha’s birthday cake, Francine reminded her fellow 18-year-old star to always stay happy and healthy.
“Ito ang wish ko sa’yo, alam mo naman: Genuine happiness na talagang nanggagaling sa puso mo, and of course, mas successful na career. And ang importante sa lahat, good health,” Francine shared as Elha giggled at her endearingly. Notably, Elha also received touching virtual birthday messages from teen singer Jayda Avanzado and The Voice coach Bamboo Mañalac.
We totally feel the BFF love between Francine and Elha, so we hope to see them perform together soon! In the meantime, we’ll be watching Francine on Bola Bola and streaming Elha’s new songs.
