ICYMI, Filipinos Flooded Harvard's FB Page With Made-Up College "Memories"

We understand, staying at home for too long can cause so much boredom. And being deprived of doing the usual stuff that we do on a *normal* day will make us think of anything to do that will lift up our moods while staying inside the house. Filipinos went through tons of activities while in quarantine. Binge-watching Netflix for the whole day, baking ube pandesal and milky buns, gardening, making Tiktok videos, online selling, and even going on various escapades on social media. Recently, for unknown reasons, Filipinos started to “troll” the Harvard University’s Facebook page and flood them with comments about their fake “memories” in the university.
If you had no idea why Harvard is trending yesterday, we’re with you. Seeing Facebook friends posting about it made us think, what happened to Harvard? No, there’s nothing wrong with them. It’s just that Filipinos love memes so much that they started posting all sorts of college "stories" they had on the university’s Facebook page for *fun* and we are pretty sure the admins of the page are so confused RN.
Well, TBH, some of them are really humorous.
Looking past the funny posts, though, some of our fellow Filipinos have pointed out many of those who joined in on the storytelling have crossed the line already by messaging the Harvard professors and leaving disrespectful comments under their posts. They went on to remind everyone that Harvard University is still an Ivy League school that deserves the utmost respect.
