Love teams are huge in the Philippines. Many of today's top pairings vibe well enough with each other to give fans amazing chemistry and an ample dose of kilig. While some of our favorite love teams eventually ended up dating IRL, there are also those who keep the romance strictly on-screen (Some of them are good friends IRL though!).

Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza

Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza were famously part of the Kapuso love team AlDub (derived from Alden's name and Maine's moniker Yaya Dub). The tandem rose to fame through the Kalyeserye segment of noon-time variety program Eat Bulaga. IRL, Alden and Maine are friends and fans love it when they interact with each other on social media. Currently, Maine is dating actor Arjo Atayde.

Gabbi Garcia and Ruru Madrid

GMA stars Gabbi and Ruru, together known as GabRu, starred in several soaps together, including My Destiny, Seasons of Love, Let The Love Begin, and the Encantadia remake. Despite working on several projects together, the two have remained friends. By 2018, however, their love team was officially broken up after four years. Gabbi acknowledged fans' sadness over the news, but also requested for them to "look at the brighter side that we get to grow not only as artists, but as individuals in our personal lives as well."

Sharlene San Pedro and Nash Aguas

One popular pairing from the Goin' Bulilit cast is the tandem of Sharlene and Nash, aka NashLene. They starred in several projects together, including Class of 2018 and The Gift. The two are really close friends especially after growing up together in the same industry. Currently, Nash is in a relationship with fellow Goin' Bulilit alum Mika Dela Cruz.

Enchong Dee and Erich Gonzales

Enchong and Erich first got to work together for Katorse back in 2009. Since then, the love team EnRich began, and the two got to work together again in The Blood Sisters. In 2020, the two produced their own digital series called You. Me. Maybe. Over the years, Erich and Enchong developed a strong bond and consider each other as their best friends. Enchong was also there for Erich during her breakup and once said that he would always answer her calls and hang out with her when she needs him.
