Emma Watson Poses for Portrait Collection

Talk about turning 21 in style. Emma Watson recently posed for a collection of portraits by Manchester-based Mark Demsteader in time for her birthday last month. At first, she only wanted to buy his artwork as a gift for herself but when Mark asked if he could paint her, she couldn't say no.
“I was a bit nervous about the idea at first but obviously incredibly flattered. It was an opportunity I couldn't turn down. I am Mark's biggest fan and I am hugely grateful,” Emma said.
The “EMMA” collection includes 34 portraits in ink, charcoal and gouache, and other mediums, which will be showcased this month in London. Ten percent of the proceeds and one of the portraits will be donated to the charity CAMFED International, which supports the education of girls in Africa.
What do you think of the portraits? Do you (or did you) have anything big planned for your 21st birthday? Tell us in a comment!
