The Bridgerton siblings from the new Netflix series are quite the interesting bunch. In case you didn't notice, they are even named alphabetically, from oldest to youngest: Anthony, Benedict, Colin, Daphne, Eloise, Francesca, Gregory, and Hyacinth.
There may be other things you haven't noticed about the cast members of the hit series (like the Duke of Hastings' uncredited cameo in a Harry Potter film). Another thing to note is about one of the Bridgerton siblings, Eloise.

On the show, Eloise Bridgerton is the fifth sibling, right after Daphne. She's 17 years old, and so is her best friend, Penelope Featherington who is the youngest child in her family. So it may come as a surprise for fans of the show, but the two characters are actually played by actresses who are already in their thirties.

Eloise is played by English actress Claudia Jesse, who is 31 years old. Prior to her Bridgerton stint, Claudia starred as Amelia Sedley in the historical drama Vanity Fair and Lucy in the British sitcom Porters.
Penelope, on the other hand, is played by 34-year-old Irish actress Nicola Coughlan. She first starred as Clare Devlin in the British sitcom Derry Girls, which is also available for streaming on Netflix.
While it may seem odd to have actors play roles that are waaay younger than they are IRL, it's actually a common practice in the entertainment industry. For many avid viewers, their friendship is one of the highlights of the show and it certainly look the part of ~regal~ teenagers.
