Most recently, Donny made waves online once again as he sang a duet with Vicki Belo’s seven-year-old daughter Scarlet Snow Belo. Over the weekend, Scarlet posted the video of their duet on her Instagram feed with the caption, “Rehearsing for our concert. Please guide me, ok @donny?” Ever the gentleman, Donny replied to her post with three heart emojis!
The now-viral video shows Donny’s sister Hannah Pangilinan carrying Scarlet on her lap while Donny played the piano beside them. Amidst a few nervous giggles, Donny and Scarlet began to sing Alan Menken’s “I See the Light,” the well-loved theme song of Disney’s animated film Tangled. Cuteness overload!
Scarlet looked so happy bonding with the Pangilinan siblings—and we totes don’t blame her! Similarly, many netizens couldn’t help but rave about the touching moment because Donny and Hannah were gently encouraging Scarlet to sing along without feeling shy. Super adorbs!
While many praised Donny and Scarlet’s soothing voices, others got emotional over the short but sweet clip. “Why am I so emotional watching thissss???” one netizen asked. TBH, same.
