You’ve been missing out if you don’t know who DonBelle is. Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano are the ones to watch after the wild success of He’s into Her and the upcoming release of their first movie together, Love Is Color Blind.
During the Media Love Conference x Trailer Reveal Live of Star Cinema, Rommel Placente, a member of the media, raised that people described them, DonBelle, as being the next KathNiel and asked what their reaction was towards this.
Donny and Belle expressed that they were flattered and grateful by it. However, they try not to compare themselves to KathNiel, and instead focus on their own journey. Donny said, “We don't really want to compare ourselves kasi siyempre ang dami kailangan patunayan and KathNiel 'yun. We are focused on our journey and we are grateful for the support that our supporters give us every day. We are excited to go through this together.” Belle added by saying that they are excited to learn more from one another, their journey, and the path they are on.
After being dubbed as “the new-gen phenomenal love team” in the trailer, we know that it’s just the start for them, the start of their journey, and there will definitely be more to come. After all, they've already proven just how powerful their tandem can be in the series He's Into Her. ICYDK, Belle and Donny also displayed incredible chemistry as a love team in the series—so much so that they still felt kilig even after the director yells cut! Now we can't wait to see more of what DonBelle has to offer in their first film. <3

Love Is Color Blind is their first movie together as a love team. They’ve recently starred in their first project He’s into Her, an ABS-CBN original series directed by Chad Vidanes. It was released earlier this year, and it was confirmed to return for a second season.
