On Thursday, November 12, YouTube vlogger Donnalyn Bartolome went to towns in Rizal and Marikina City to help with rescue operations amid Typhoon Ulysses. Donnalyn, along with her team, personally delivered several rescue boats she bought that same day. She also posted a callout for volunteer rescuers on Instagram Stories.

Donnalyn also shared a video on her IG account, where she asked the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) to go to Rizal. "Ang daming nagsasabi na dinadaan-daanan lang sila so please help."
"So please baka po mayroong coast guards diyan o official na kilala niyo. Wala kasi akong kakilala so puwede po ba na magpa-deploy kayo sa Rizal? Ang dami po nagme-message sa akin, life and death matter na po talaga. Imagine, may mamamatay po doon so pumunta po kayo doon please." She later updated that members of the Coast Guard were on their way to Rizal and that all the rescue boats she purchased had been deployed.
