David Licauco has been modeling well before the debut of his acting career in 2014. While some recognize him on magazine covers, David has been making his way into more people’s hearts being an actor of good standing. If you’re obsessed with his irresistible character on Maria Clara at Ibarra, you might want to check out these other shows we’ve listed starring the 28-year-old actor:

LIST: Must-Watch David Licauco Shows

1. Heartful Café

The Heartful Café series directed by Mark Sicat dela Cruz premiered in April 2021 as part of GMA Network’s Telebabad line-up. Julie Anne San Jose plays Heart Fulgencio, a coffee shop owner in trouble with keeping the store afloat because the man she wanted to marry left her in so much debt. David's character, Ace Nobleza eventually invests in the cafe and becomes Heart’s partner in running the business. While Ace has an existing relationship with Cors played by Barbie Forteza, his feelings toward Heart become stronger and stronger causing a ruckus between him and his girlfriend. This show is a perfect mix of drama and romantic comedy. Grab a cup of coffee and watch this hearty story unfold!

2. Because I Love You

Premiered in 2019, this film captures a growing romance between two people from different worlds. David plays Rael, a man who has everything except for Summer, a firefighter played by Shaira Diaz. In his quest to warn Summer about having her heart broken by his friend, he falls more in love with her. There’s only one problem, how will Rael gain her trust while along with his ripening feelings for Summer, he also has an existing relationship?

In his role as Rael, David was recognized as the New Movie Actor of the year honor from the 36th PMPC Star Awards for Movies.

3. TODA One I Love

Aired in February 2019, Licauco plays a chinito heartthrob named Kobe in TODA One I Love. His character constantly gets in the way of the blossoming affection of Emong, played by Ruru Madrid, towards Gelay, played by Kylie Padilla. While David’s charming kindness in this show is a sight to see, this series is relevant to our society as well. Not only is it comedic and romantic but it also displays selfish political agendas and corruption.

4. Mano Po Legacy: The Family Fortune

Anton Chan, David’s character, belongs to a wealthy Filipino-Chinese clan in this series directed by Ian Loreños which was televised in 2022. David found portraying his character challenging because he had to restrict his emotions to scenes. While Anton’s marriage path is pretty much dictated by his family, he faces a challenge knowing that they probably won’t approve of his affection towards one of their company’s employees, Steffy Dy played by Barbie.

5. Without You

This emotional film directed by RC Delos Reyes, premiered in cinemas nationwide on February 15, 2023. Shaira is partnered up with David once more in this newly released OctoArts Films International Valentine’s movie where they play a couple that comes across frustrating challenges in their relationship. Their on-screen relationship steps into a new level of intensity with a more mature plot. Ready your tissues because this one’s a real tear-jerker.

6. One Hugot Away: Walang Label

GMA News and Public Affairs’ experimental short film series One Hugot Away: Walang Label starring David and Shaira has a heart-racing and nail-biting concept. Filled with hugot lines, this show captures the conflicting world of being more than just friends but not having a definite label to commit to. Watch the relatable story of Ben and Ella, played by the power tandem.

7. Maria Clara at Ibarra

Of course, this list wouldn’t be complete without the show David considers one of his biggest blessings. Premiered in October 2022 with Zig Dulay’s direction, it shows how genuinely undeniable the chemistry of David’s character, Fidel with Klay played by Barbie. Almost every day, you’ll see photos of #FiLay surfacing on the internet because of how well they play their roles. We love an enemies-to-lovers trope! O kay tamis na matawag na ~binibini~ by a man such as Fidel, *kilig* to the max talaga!
