You guys, prom ~szn~ is officially here and the brightest Gen Z Kapamilya stars are carrying out their *promposals* for the upcoming Star Magical Prom on March 30! One actor who worked up the courage to pop the question was former Pinoy Big Brother contestant Josh Worsley, who asked his fellow housemate Criza Taa to be his date. OMG!
The P-Pop trainee booked a helicopter ride for his promposal, and the actress had *no idea* about what was in store for her. “Yung plan is basically to go around Manila, tapos pag-uwi na, pag-landing, make sure Criza can see the big sign,” says Josh in a YouTube vlog. “Sana she will say yes, and hopefully she will have a fun time.”
Josh popped the question after their helicopter tour. “This is my first time going and I love your energy talaga. I want to have fun at the prom as a friend or whatever po. If it's okay, if you want to be my partner to prom po?”
While she appreciates the effort, however, Criza suprisingly *declined* Josh’s promposal.
“Na-appreciate ko talaga ito lahat, like I really do. Sobrang happy ako na you did this and all. Pero, naka-set na sa utak ko that I'm going to prom alone,” she explains. “This is going to be my first prom kasi ever, like I want to spend it by myself. But of course, we can still like hang out there or what. I really appreciate this. Thank you, Josh.”
Being such a good sport, Josh shares that he’s not upset with Criza’s decision at all.
“I am not upset. I am actually happy that I told her that I want to go to prom with her and everything,” he says. “She just said that she wants to go alone. I am supportive of her. So I am happy with her decision.”
