Ella Enchanted

Ella’s fairy godmother gave her the gift of obedience when she was born, which turned out to be a curse rather than a blessing. In hopes of breaking the spell, Ella went on a quest to find her godmother with the prince she met along the way.

Enola Holmes

If you’re wondering what vlogging looks like back in the day, this film will show you how with its first-person interaction with the audience. Based on the famous crime detective Sherlock Homes, the movie centers on Enola–the youngest sister of Sherlock. In search for her missing mother, she encounters another mystery case that requires the help of her brother. Torn between asking for help and outdoing her brother, she doubts herself as a detective.

This story revolves around Anne Elliot, who had to choose between reuniting with an old flame or letting go of their past. Like Enola Homes, it has a touch of modernity with its usage of modern slang and a vlog-like perspective.

Little Women

It is a classic coming-of-age story that deals with sisterhood, womanhood, and their struggles to maintain relationships despite the differences in their circumstances. Years after the war, the sisters separated ways to fulfill their dreams until an ill sibling brought the family back together.

Stardust

Tristan trespasses the land of fairies to get the falling star and make the woman he loves fall for him, but instead of a rock, he discovers a woman named Yvaine. As it turns out, Yvaine is in grave danger for the power she holds as a star. Greedy witches and kings wanted to take away her ability, and Tristan must find a way to keep her alive.
