In a time when the entire world is hit by a crisis like the COVID-19 pandemic, good news and good vibes seem to be rare ATM. The country has been put under a state of calamity and Luzon is under an enhanced community quarantine

But in the midst of all the scary things we hear and read, there is still a glimmer of hope from people who look out for others and bring people together to help. Mapapa “faith in humanity restored” ka na lang!

Content creator AC Soriano, known for his YouTube channel AC TV, took to Twitter to use his influence for good and raise funds for people who are in dire need of financial support amidst the COVID-19 crisis.

On March 17, AC started a Twitter thread with the details of where people can send financial donations and regularly updated it with the current amount of donations for transparency. In the end, AC was able to raise a total of P142,273.04. Wow!

According to his tweets, the money raised will be donated to COVID-19 frontliners through the Office of the Vice President, Sitio San Roque, as well as five other beneficiaries who are in dire need of financial support. 

In a recent tweet, AC mentioned that he will be doing another round of fundraising on Twitter, so if you want to help out and donate, keep an eye out on Twitter.
