Another day, another Goin' Bulilit alumni who successfully graduated from college! This time around, it's former child star CJ Navato, who recently shared his important milestone last October 30, 2022.
"It’s official. Ya boi made it!" he wrote on Instagram. "Thank you to my family for being with me every step of the way."
"This one’s for you, for God & for country. Always."
He also posted a picture with his girlfriend, whom he thanked for "celebrating my victories with me, and supporting me even in my lowest moments."Â
CJ earned his Culinary Arts degree from the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde. In a previous interview with PUSH, the actor shared that he found his passion in cooking after doing some soul-searching. According to him, he didn't know what to do aside from acting, so he wanted to ~branch~ out and study something else.
"Ang tagal ko na-realize kasi simula bata ako naging artista na ako so hindi ko alam yung gusto ko gawin talaga in the future until nagka-soul searching din talaga," he divulged.
He added: "I really want to be a chef. Naging mahilig din ako kasi nanunuod ako ng mga MasterChef, yung mga ganung cooking shows."
CJ got his start in showbiz when he joined Star Circle Quest: Kids Edition in 2004. He also became a cast member of the kiddie gag show, Goin' Bulilit. (ICYDK, he was batchmates with Kathryn Bernardo and Jane Oineza!) Earlier this year, he portrayed the life story of Olympic silver medalist Carlo Paalam in a Maalala Mo Kaya episode.Â
