As they celebrate their 10th year anniversary, Instagram launched a few cool features on their app as a ‘thank you’ gift for their users, including the App Icon where they’re allowing everyone to change the Instagram app icon on their phones all throughout their anniversary month.
Through the app’s settings, you can choose your preferred icon in different variations like the 2010 *classic* Polaroid camera logo, the original white Polaroid camera logo, the prelaunch icon called “Codename,” and you can also change the current logo’s color with different themes like sunrise, gold, pride, black and whites, and even a very dark theme where you can barely see the Instagram app anymore. It’s really all up to you.
To change your app icon, follow these three simple steps.
Go to settings.
Go to your profile then click the horizontal lines on the upper right corner of your screen. Click 'Settings'.
Swipe down until you reach the 'partying face' emoji
Choose the app icon that you like!
After you swipe down, it will direct you to a list of app icons that you can choose from. Just click whichever your prefer and you're done!
