ICYMI, Cassy Legaspi bagged the German Moreno Youth Achievement Award at the 69th Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) Awards. The honor is given to young talents who have shown *great* promise as an actor in the past calendar year.
The 20-year-old actress took to Instagram to share her important career milestone and attached a picture of herself virtually receiving the recognition via live stream.
"My first award," she wrote in the caption. "Thank you FAMAS for the recognition as your German Moreno Youth Achievement awardee! I will do my absolute best to be as authentic as possible and as inspiring as I can be to the youth. Rest assured I will use my platform wisely."
She also took the time to thank GMA and her family for their continuous support. "I would like to thank GMA Artist Center @artistcenter and GMA Network @gmanetwork for giving me the opportunity to showcase my talents. I also want to thank my family for always having my back and my yellow hearts for supporting me since Day 1."
"This one's for you," she concluded.
The other recipient of the award is Joaquin Domagoso. The two have worked alongside each other in the GMA series First Yaya.
