We here at the Candy HQ are a supportive bunch of people. So when we read news recently that some of the Candy Cuties are doing great in their chosen fields, we felt so proud and happy for them. Exhibit A: Our feelings for these 2 cuties who made news recently.

Sam Concepcion. Sam has been on the pages (he was on the cover twice, too!) of Candy for as long as we can remember. Now he's all grown up and is considered as one of the country's brightest young stars. Recently, it was announced that he's starring with his real life sweetheart Jasmine Curtis Smith on TV5's mini-series, My Tag Boyfriend, based on a story originally published online which is set to premiere on September 22. We had the chance to catch up with Jasmine recently and asked her about how she feels to finally work with Sam on a TV series. "I think it's great that we have a chance to work on screen together! It'll be very new and maybe a little overwhelming, but it'll be very interesting to see how we will adapt with each other's work ethics," she said.

Mark Neumann. Mark Neumann is also set to appear on another episode of the TV5 show titled Mr. Popular which is another story originally published online. Mark will be starring on the mini-series with Diego Loyzaga and Shaira Mae.

And since we're already talking about Candy people on a roll, Sam Rodriguez (who appeared on the very first edition of Tweak My Style) will also star on another mini-series made for TV. For the show's episode titled Poser (another story originally published online!), Sam will be acting alongside Chanel Morales and Akihiro Blanco.
