In a lengthy and heartfelt Instagram post on March 27, actress Dimples Romana revealed that her eldest daughter Callie Ahmee is leaving for college abroad today.
“Last day before my little one [Callie] leaves for college. Today I gain a deeper understanding of LOVE and PARENTING. We give birth to our children, raise them to know love and feel it. We make sure their roots to home are deep and steady. And when the TIME IS RIGHT, and for us that’s NOW, we give them wings to fly,” she wrote.
“Today Ate [Callie] we celebrate the wings you have just put on. We sing, we love, we cry, we conquer. Love you Christiana Amanda Lauren Romana Ahmee,” she concluded.
ICYMI, Dimples and her husband Boyet Ahmee held a gender reveal party yesterday to announce that their third child will be a boy. During the party, 18-year-old Callie and her mom were reportedly seen tearfully hugging each other on the dance floor.
Earlier this month, Dimples posted photos of Callie’s place in Australia and reminded her daughter to stay responsible while living independently abroad. Notably, Callie was also given her own condominium in Manila last January so that she could start preparing for future “adulting” duties.
In a previous social media post from 2021, Dimples congratulated her daughter for graduating high school with honors amidst the pandemic. Now, Callie is set to study Aviation Management at Southern Cross University in Australia to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a pilot.
Apart from being a full-time honors student, Callie is also the founder and owner of clothing brand Cal the Brand.
